Tia Shim
Tia Shim (she/her) is an attorney of counsel from New York City. Her current practice focuses on real estate transactions and contracts. She also has extensive experience in immigration law. She is licensed to practice in federal and state courts in Utah, New York, and Washington, D.C.
Tia graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. She attended New York School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2001.
As an established attorney and real estate broker, Tia is able to provide a variety of high-quality services to domestic and multinational companies, corporate professionals, as well as individuals and families. In addition to working as an attorney of counsel at Wharton Law, Tia maintains her own separate commercial real estate brokerage.
Tia has been instrumental in real estate transactions involving multiple government agencies and private businesses. Tia also previously served as the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) liaison to the United States Customs and Immigration Service (USCIS) Salt Lake City Field Office.
Outside the office, Tia enjoys hiking, travel, cultural celebrations, fashion, and interior design.
